Who's who at the conference 26th October

On Saturday morning  our first conference speaker will be Dr Jonathan Lanman, a lecturer in Cognition and Culture at Queen’s University Belfast. Dr Lanman will be discussing emerging research in the cognitive and social sciences that attempts to more systematically understand the psychological mechanisms underlying social connections and how ritual participation impacts these mechanisms.

His paper is entitled Ritual and Divergent Modes of Cohesion. You can check out the full abstract on the confirmed speakers page
